About Nadine Domond - Founder and Director-Personal Basketball Trainer, Motivational Speaker, Camp Speaker, Half Time Show Coordinator, Clinician, and Camp Director.

 

Nadine Domond is a former #1 point guard of the country, high school All- American, and member of the Silver Medal Jones Cup Team from the University of Iowa. She played for Hall of Famer Vivian Stringer and earned second team All-Big 10 honors for field goals made (118), fifth in assists (357), and seventh in steals (177) during her senior year after two straight honorable mention honors. Domond is still ranked fourth in the 3-point Hawkeye record book.

After graduation, she played overseas in France, Poland, Israel, and with the WNBA as the 19th pick overall in 1998 by New York Liberty. Also during that season, Domond played with the Sacramento Monarchs. While playing in Israel, she played for Israel’s women’s national coach Eli Rabi. While there, she led Bnei Yehuda to the Championship playoffs for the first time in club history. In Poland, she helped lead her Color Cap Rybnik to the final four in Poland’s national championship for the first time.

She was a Graduate Assistant Coach at Hampton University for the 2002-03 season and served as Assistant Coach for the 2003-04 season. Domond coached the Apprentice School women’s basketball program in 2005-06 and 2006-07. In 2005-06, the team finished 3rd in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association National Championships with a 17-11 record. The next year, the team finished 18-8 as Domond served as Associate Head Coach.
